For me there is nothing better than being swept away into someone else’s life within a story. As a child I used to devour books, as quickly as I got them I finished them. We used to holiday in Scotland and I loved the 5 hour drive as I could read uninterrupted (apart from the odd toilet break!).
Putting words to paper is my happy place, sat in my office at home, gazing at the Yorkshire countryside and creating new lives and worlds gives me warm cosy inside hugs. The worlds I create hold a part of myself somewhere inside them.
But its intimidating too, in a world where opinions are everywhere its a daunting thing to put my words out into the world. I hope you like them, and if you don’t that’s ok too. It wouldn’t do if we all liked the same thing, please leave your feedback, comments, reviews and I will create the things you want to see too.
